US Skiers Uses VR Technology To Train For Olympics

The United States skiers and the snowboarders will able to deal with injuries better than their competitors when they take part in the XXIII Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang in South Korea. They will enter their respective disciplines with proper training to adapt well to the crashes ad horrible injuries that are part of the sport.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s Center of Excellence in Park City, Utah has the best and advanced sports medicine to get over their injuries. Apart from having the latest gym equipment and training tools, the center also has virtual reality setups in place to offer the athletes a vital experience of going down the slalom course.

This is a center that trains the snowboarders and skiers on injury rehab using the best hardware and VR techniques. The training center has state of the art facilities to study the training and the game regimens of individual USSA athletes.

It is overseen by Dr. Bill Moreau, the U.S. Olympic Committee Vice President. He and his team have gone through numerous data of the athletes to come out with the big data to help coaches and trainers know the right regimen that every athlete needs to follow.
