Throughout his decades-long career, Dr. Murphy has contributed his extensive knowledge to a number of peer reviewed journal articles, including “A Caveat for the Application of the Critical Cost Efficiency Index in Induced Budget Experiments,” and “Are Hypothetical Referenda Incentive Compatible?” Beyond his status as a leader in his field, he has been awarded many times for professional endeavors, earning such awards as the Teaching Award through the Richards College of Business and the Theodore C. Boyden Excellence in Teaching Award through Georgia State University.
