New CFO in Panion, Sofia Josephson


Panion Animal Health AB has had a very satisfactory cooperation with our CFO Anni Acs, who excellently handled the business transition into the stock market, shares issue, and daily financial controlling. Anni has moved to a new job challenge and we wish her all  the best.

The new CFO for Panion from the of January 2018 is Sofia Josephson, who has cooperated with Anni for a smooth transition and take-over of the role. Sofia Josephson has experience in accounting and financial controlling. She currently also works as Controller for VA Automotive, which is a company listed on First North. She has previously worked as accountant at PWC. Sofia Josephson has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Kristianstad University.

Sofia Josephson holds no shares in the Company.

Panion establishes an advisory board
Panion’s strategic plans for the epilepsy project includes the establishment of a new advisory board.

We are proud to announce that the first member is Dr. Karen Munana, Professor in neurology at North Carolina State University, College of veterinary medicine. She is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and holds a diplomate degree from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology). She leads the Companion Animal Epilepsy Research Laboratory at NCSU, which is dedicated to developing more effective treatments for seizures in companion animals and to learn more about the cause of epileptic seizures in dogs and cats.

Advisory board membership is a voluntary, independent, and non-remunerated position.

Panion will develop and commercialize a gene therapy treatment for dogs with drug refractory epilepsy, and other new animal health products and treatments that improve the quality of life for animals suffering from chronic diseases.
