NNSP Co., Ltd., a specialized company in industrial control system (ICS) security, won the 2017 Global Power Brand Award (GPBA) and the award of “Byeong-wan Jang, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Venture Enterprise Committee at the National Assembly” for the excellence of its fusion control security solution, “nNetDiode”.
nNetDiodes is a device that prevent hacking of critical information infrastructure or industrial infrastructure. By connecting only one line from the facility to the external network, it transmits operation information in one direction, thereby preventing 100% attacks from the external network. If there is an error in data reception, it also has a system that changes the receiving equipment line or recognizes the disconnection of the transmitting equipment and retransmits it.
nNetDiode was born under the project named “Localization of physical one-way transmission equipment to prevent cyber hacking” pursued by the Small and Medium Business Administration (currently named Ministry of SMEs and Startups). It satisfies the government’s one-way security policy and security verification criteria such as ‘National Information Security Basic Guidelines’ and ‘National / Public Organization Control System Security Guidelines’, and it is being used in various industries.
Being used in energy field such as Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Corporation, Korea District Heating Corporation, water resources field such as Korea Water Resources Corporation, Seoul city, Busan city, Incheon city as well as traffic field of Namyangju-si, it is ranked as the top of the local one-way transmission equipments.
