PHILADELPHIA PA – 11-05-2018 (PRDistribution.com) — IDA, Institute of Dance Artistry is pleased to announce the 14th Anniversary of the Generations Dance Concert. Developed in 2005 by IDA owner/director Jamie Lipskin, IDA’s Generations Dance Concert brings together professional Philadelphia-based dance companies, independent Philly artists, IDA faculty, and the IDA Repertory Companies to perform annually for a cause that is near and dear to IDA. 100% of all money generated from tickets sales is donated to the benefiting charities.
The Generations dance concert series has raised over $65,000 for organizations including Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium, Kisses for Kyle, Katie’s Kids for the Cure, CHOP, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Be The Match, Ronald McDonald House, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Generations is more than a dance concert. It teaches young, budding artists and dancers that they can dance and perform for a greater good. It also brings new, innovative, artistic, and entertaining choreography to the community creating an excitement and appreciation for the art of dance. All money from tickets sales goes directly to the charities.

With a focus on dance as an art, IDA, Institute of Dance Artistry, offers versatile dance programs for children to pre-professionals. Our passionate, professional teachers bring excitement, expertise, and fresh choreography to every class.
Our beautiful Fort Washington and Plymouth Meeting PA dance studios are spacious and include cozy lounge areas and viewing windows. This creates an excellent environment for learning for both children’s dance and pre-professional dance.
Numerous performance opportunities and chances to give back to the community through dance enhance the experience for each student. Our family atmosphere provides a nurturing place for young artists to create their very own dance stories.
The IDA Fort Washington studio services Upper Dublin, Dresher, Flourtown, Ambler, Oreland, Spring House, North Wales, Montgomeryville, Horsham, and other surrounding communities.
The IDA Plymouth Meeting studio is easily accessible from Whitemarsh Township, Conshohocken, Blue Bell, Lafayette Hill, East and West Norriton, Whitpain Township, Center Square, Norristown, and other surrounding communities.
