Alibaba.com’s Super September to Enable One-stop Cross-border Trade Solution for SMBs

“Alibaba.com’s Super September promotion leverages our comprehensive end-to-end service system to enable small and medium-sized companies to easily source from China, with minimal risk and in the shortest amount of time,” said Zhang Kuo, general manager of Alibaba.com. “Moving forward, Alibaba.com will continue to improve the process of conducting international trade online with the aim of finally realizing safe and convenient transactions everywhere.”

Super September introduces more than 5 million products across 26 sectors such as consumer electronics, fashion, home and garden and machinery, with discounts up to 30 percent from over 50,000 suppliers. Popular items such as accessories for signature smartphones are already available for quotation.

The promotion is open to all buyers who enter into a Trade Assurance Service Purchase Contract online, a free service provided by Alibaba.com to secure orders and reduce risk in factors such as shipping and quality-related disputes. Buyers who enter into a contract and make an initial payment of $1,000 or above with a Trade Assurance supplier will receive a one-time free inspection service for that order provided by Bureau Veritas, conducted in Mainland China, prior to shipment.

Registered members of Alibaba.com who have not had any completed Trade Assurance transactions to-date will, furthermore, receive a USD50 discount coupon for their first Trade Assurance order over USD1,000, while regular buyers who have completed a Trade Assurance purchasing contract before Super September with an initial payment of over USD1,000 can receive three free value-added RFQ (requests for quotation) services worth up to USD119.
