Chicago – December 29, 2017 – Cat-owner’s rejoice! The Cat Case is the answer to every cat-owner looking for a functional and pet-friendly piece of furniture. The brainchild of designer Jeff Faye, The Cat Case’s month-long Kickstarter campaign quintupled its original goal of $5,000 and successfully raised more than $25,000 with 99 backers.
Launched on November 21, 2017, The Cat Case‘s campaign reached its goal in five hours. Stretch goals were soon added in order to offer upgrades and add-ons for every backer. It wasn’t long before the furniture was featured in outlets like The Dodo and Digital Journal, increasing its visibility amongst the pet-owner and homeowner communities.
“As a cat-owner, I understand the dilemma of simultaneously wanting well-designed pieces in your home and having a pet-friendly space. The Cat Case was created from this need and solves both issues in a clean, modern, and ultra-functional way,” said creator Jeff Faye. “We are overwhelmed, yet excited by the support we’ve received, and cannot wait for The Cat Case to become a staple in people’s homes.”
The Cat Case touts itself as a dual-purpose piece of modern pet furniture. It has multiple configurations and can be turned into a traditional bookcase, a low window display, a wall installation, and more. Comprised of three distinct panels, it is easy to assemble, and available in four different finishes: white, gray, maple and walnut.
“The Cat Case’s success points to its ability to find a gap in two markets, and create something simple, yet innovative,” said Nesh Pillay, a communications professional who runs digital marketing agency, Press Pillay. “From a marketing standpoint, they ran a successful crowdfunding campaign: they spoke to the right target audiences, have a solid product, and deserve all the attention they’re getting.”
The Cat Case‘s campaign ended on December 21, 2017. The team is currently working on production, testing and packaging. Early-bird backers are estimated to receive their cases and shelves by February 2018; everyone else is estimated to receive their furniture by April 2018.
