From December 29, 2017 to December 31, three-day Tango International Music Festival was held successfully in Kunming, Yunnan of China. More than 40 bands were invited to this event, including Zero band, Black Panther and The Tang Dynasty Band. This music festival gathered more than half of Chinese Rock circle, created an luxury star cast and present an unprecedented music feast for 30,000 live audience at the end of the year.
Tango inaugurated a brand new IP mode of “music + travel + society”, which acquired favor and support from top brands, including Huawei Honor, Wanda, Didi and Red Bull. It initiated a sharing method of one ticket for a dozen of free and discount experiences, effectively promoted the economic development of multiple industrial chains in local and surrounding areas, including tourism, food, sports, entertainment, etc., and well illustrated the new tourist leisure and entertainment idea of “spreading joy and sharing experiences” in this age of sharing economy.
This music festival was reported and covered in detail by major media in multiform at home and abroad and received much online attention and interaction from myriad fans on network broadcast platform. In the coming year, Tango International Music Festival will have its eye on foreign countries, and plan to be held in succession in more than 10 countries in Europe, America and Southeast Asia, and cheer for China’s further implementation and development of “The Belt and Road” international cooperation initiative through intercultural communication.
