Condo-World, the Myrtle Beach area’s largest aggregate supplier of professionally managed vacation rentals, is pleased to announce the launch of a technology partnership with Homeaway Software to significantly expand Condo-World's rental offerings outside of the Myrtle Beach area. Property managers using ISI Link can now seamlessly distribute their properties to be marketed on one of the industry's most trusted and long established brands.

Founded in North Myrtle Beach in 1985, Condo-World has consistently expanded upon the traditional property management business model through strategic partnerships and savvy in-house tech operations. While their managed inventory is limited to North Myrtle Beach, the rise of API technology has enabled the company to develop a platform that allows for scale and growth in new markets and connect their vast customer base with vacation rentals in other destinations.

This innovative approach to collaboratively leverage properties outside of their rental program began in 2015, in response to a growing demand from their customer base for condo rentals in other parts of the region. The company soon discovered an untapped model for growth that closely mirrored the longtime vision of Founder and CEO, Roy Clyburn. “When we named the business Condo-World 33 years ago, I knew we were setting ourselves up for future growth that would take us far beyond North Myrtle Beach. The name Condo-World is, and will always be, one of our greatest assets,” says Clyburn.

The Condo-World Resort Collection was launched with a group of 9 resorts in Central and South Myrtle Beach, and has since grown to include 21 resorts and rental companies in all areas of the Grand Strand, generating nearly $20M in sales for these properties over the past 3 years.

“The success of our initial expansion in Myrtle Beach provided the empirical validation we needed to know it was worth taking this program to additional markets,” says Alex Husner, Chief Marketing Officer for Condo-World. “We offer a unique perspective as a booking channel that's also a property management company. Our understanding of the industry has allowed us to develop a platform that helps our partners increase visibility and drive revenue, while not taking away from their own marketing efforts. We provide immediate access to the guests' information once the reservation is booked, and we prefer for our partners to be merchant of record. Many of the properties we work with have been able to significantly reduce their reliance on higher commission OTAs because of the bookings we generate for them at a lower cost,” says Husner.

The stage has been set for Condo-World to diversify and strengthen its expansion program, and the company is now actively securing partnerships with resorts and rental companies in Destin, Panama City Beach, South Walton Beaches, Orlando, Hilton Head, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Gulf Shores, with plans to expand into other parts of Florida, Hawaii and the West Coast ski destinations in the near future. Condo-World is currently integrated with ISI Link, EscapiaNet and GuestDesk/IQware, with many other PMS and channel manager integration in the pipeline.
