FREEHOLD, N.J., Nov. 28, 2017 — A New Jersey Search Engine Marketing consultant has connected with his favorite NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, as both a fan and a business partner. Jeremy Skillings, a native Pennsylvanian and 1997 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, is expanding to the Pittsburgh market and he has made a giant stride by bringing a larger online audience to the Pittsburgh sports scene.

Skillings, a diehard fan of the Steelers and the NHL's Penguins is working with, DK Pittsburgh Sports which is quickly gaining a reputation as a model of subscription online sports journalism. Steelers fans are literally everywhere and Skillings says his goal is to boost the organic search presence of the website for Pittsburgh sports fans around the world. DK Pittsburgh Sports celebrated the three-year anniversary of its launch this summer, and the multi-media interactive site also covers the Pirates in Major League Baseball, the Riverhounds of the United Soccer League and Pitt, Duquesne and Penn State in collegiate sports. Penn State, just three hours away by car, has its share of fans there, and fans all over the country.
“The bottom line is that You Can Be Found is now working with Pittsburgh companies and teaming with DK in this sports-crazed city is a great first step into the market there,” says Skillings, who has attended AFC Championship games and Stanley Cup title games in Pittsburgh.
The initial connection with DK came as a loyal subscriber because of his love for the Steelers, and Skillings was so impressed with the coverage he found there that it eventually led to a business connection. He said it struck him that wherever he goes, including among business clients and social acquaintances in New Jersey and the New York Metropolitan Area, there always seem to be devoted Steelers fans.
“I couldn't think of a better way to combine business and pleasure,” he says of his venture into this market, welcoming the prospect of introducing Pittsburgh sports fans to an impressive online presence.
